Description
Kazoo Studios developed this CD-ROM for the University of Victoria’s English Language Centre in the Division of Continuing Studies to help “English as a Second Language” (ESL) students improve their English language proficiency.
The CD-ROM demonstrates North American cultural norms in a variety of social settings (via video, audio, and written stories) and provides numerous interactive exercises to test student comprehension.
While this project was developed in Flash, but the SWFs were wrapped inside a Director projector so that the content could be deployed as a desktop applications. Director also provided the audio recording functionality via an Xtra.
